warm is the ground / wool and sheep research project
Since 2018 I keep a herd of 25 Ouessant sheep here in France. I use their wool, breed small Ouessant sheep, give information to children and adults and create possibilities for people to experience the dynamics of the herd by visits, workshops and walks. La Filature du Hibou near Namur (Belgium) has spun this yarn in different shades of brown, grey and since last year also in a natural white, mixing the wool before spinning. Warm Is The Ground is an artistic project about rooted in French agriculture. The knitting label is called Oyfanoy. read more: www.oyfanoy.com.

In 2018 I bought a blouse at the Emmaüs foundation in Glageon France and took it to Zundert where I did a residency in the studio of the Vincent van Gogh House in 2020. Eva Geene, an employee of the museum, showed me her beautiful retro dress collection and was very fascinated by the floral print on the retro blouse I bought. I photographed details of her dress collection, polaroid on the right.
In my blouse is a label from a care home with the name of the resident Eda Zumello, polaroid on the left.
